These guidelines ensure integrity, transparency, and reliability in scholarly research,
promoting ethical conduct, methodological rigor, and prevention of misconduct.
Duties of Editors
➤ Publication Decisions:
- ☀ Editors have full authority to accept, reject, or request revisions of manuscripts based on review reports.
➤ Manuscript Review Process:
- ☀ Editors ensure all manuscripts undergo originality checks and blind peer review before decisions are made.
➤ Fair Evaluation:
- ☀ Manuscripts are reviewed solely based on intellectual content, without bias towards gender, race, religion, nationality, or other personal attributes.
➤ Confidentiality:
- ☀ Editors maintain strict confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts.
➤ Conflict of Interest:
- ☀ Editors must not use unpublished material from submissions for personal research without written consent.
➤ Correction of Errors (Errata):
- ☀ Editors ensure corrections or errata are published when errors are identified.
➤ Ethical Standards Compliance:
- ☀ All published research must follow international ethical guidelines and publishing standards.
➤ Handling Misconduct Allegations:
- ☀ Manuscripts are not rejected based on suspicion alone; concrete evidence is required before action.
➤ Accountability and Editorial Duties:
- ☀ Editors participate in annual virtual meetings to discuss policies, suggest initiatives, review manuscripts, and propose special issues or new authors.
Authors' Duties
➤ Adherence to Publication Guidelines:
- ⬙ Authors must comply fully with IJLLLE submission guidelines.
➤ Originality of Work:
- ⬙ Manuscripts must be entirely original and not published elsewhere.
➤ Multiple Journal Submissions:
- ⬙ Manuscripts must not be under consideration by other journals.
➤ Peer Review Process:
- ⬙ Authors are required to participate in the peer review process.
➤ Paper Authorship & Data:
- ⬙ Each author must contribute significantly, provide raw data, cite all sources, and ensure data authenticity.
➤ Conflict of Interest:
- ⬙ Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest.
➤ Fundamental Errors:
- ⬙ Authors must correct or retract any significant errors discovered in their manuscripts.
➤ Submission Checklist & Human Subjects:
- ⬙ Authors must complete the submission checklist. For human subjects research, IRB approval is required.
Reviewers' Responsibilities
➤ Confidentiality:
- ◆ Reviewers must maintain confidentiality of all manuscripts.
➤ Source Acknowledgment & Objectivity:
- ◆ Verify sources, conduct objective reviews, and provide evidence-based feedback.
➤ Detecting Plagiarism & Relevant Work:
- ◆ Report suspected plagiarism and identify relevant uncited work.
➤ Avoiding Conflicts of Interest & Timely Completion:
- ◆ Avoid conflicts and complete reviews on time or notify editor for alternatives.
➤ Editorial Participation:
- ◆ Attend virtual meetings, propose initiatives, and contribute to special issues and author recruitment.
