Reviewer Guidelines

The International Journal of Language, Linguistics, Literature and Education (IJLLLE) is a high-quality international, open access, peer-reviewed, refereed and multidisciplinary journal, published quarterly online. IJLLLE invites applications for Editorial/Reviewer Board membership. Ensuring the highest quality of publications is critical for supporting the research ecosystem of scholars and academicians. With this objective, IJLLLE welcomes professional scientists, subject experts and experienced researchers from around the world to serve as editors/reviewers and help maintain the journal’s global recognition.


Editorial/Reviewer Board Requirements:

  • The applicant should hold a PhD (Doctorate) and be serving as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in a recognized Institute/University. Alternatively, candidates with a Master’s degree and at least 10 years of teaching experience (UGC norms) in any institution/university are eligible.
  • The applicant must have relevant experience in their specific research field.
  • Applicants should have at least 5 research papers published in international journals or conference proceedings.

After approval by the Editorial Committee, you will be notified promptly, and your profile will be added to the IJLLLE Editorial/Reviewer Board.

The Responsibility of the Peer Reviewer:

The peer reviewer is responsible for critically evaluating the manuscript within their field of expertise, providing constructive feedback, and assessing the manuscript’s strengths, weaknesses, originality and relevance. The reviewer should suggest ways to improve the manuscript’s clarity, quality, and academic contribution.


Please consider the following before reviewing a manuscript:

  • If the manuscript is not within your area of expertise, inform the editor immediately and recommend an alternative reviewer if possible.
  • Reviews should be completed within 2 weeks. If unable to meet the deadline due to unavoidable reasons, inform the editor and suggest an alternative reviewer if possible.
  • All information regarding manuscripts must be kept confidential and treated as privileged.
  • Reviewers must avoid conflicts of interest, including personal, institutional or professional relationships that could bias the review.
